being caught这个问题我想提问者本来是知道的差不多的,不过下面两位答主反倒是比提问者还不懂了。其中的being确实可有可无,无非是含义上会有一点点区别罢了,也可以说没有区别。徐广联《大学英语语法讲座与测试》第五版提到:$ F8 O1 g( B5 E1 T G- e- K
9.作状语的分词短语前的连词0 U1 |# [: C6 k& Q' b4 y- E% Z
分词短语作状语时,有时前面可用一个连词,表示强调,或出于表达需要,常用的连词有:when, while, after, before, if, though, whether... or, unless, as if等。例如:
1 `8 k; g9 U8 X, ]* c' g$ ]+ UAfter taking the medicine, she felt better. 吃过药后,她感到好些了。
6 Y! j4 k0 |/ `( ^+ u- a+ S2 h* ZWhether sleeping or waking, he was not at ease. 不管睡着还是醒着,他心都不安。; e/ P/ J" G/ z* D
