又是代词指代问题

我在代词指代上已经摔了好多跟头了，今天又摔了一次：

第一眼看上去，我觉得 his 指的是 Kim Guifoyle。但实际上指的是 Trupm。这是指代的“就近原则”吗？

发帖的时候可能是喝高了，根本没看懂文章的意思，还以为文章写得不清楚。
只有一个人（Kim Guilfoyle）感染病毒，但我错误地理解成了两个人。
