　与其使乡党有誉言，不如令乡党无怨言；与其为子孙谋产业，不如教子孙习恒业。

Rather than do things in a way that will earn the praise of your fellow villagers, do them in a way that will not arouse their complaint,
rather than strive to acquire wealth that you can pass on to your children, teach them how to make a living and be self-reliant.
