我本来只是要找一下wry，结果又发现一个新版、旧版打架的词，大家请看：

奇了怪了，原文里面明明有humorous ，新牛津双解的译者为什么偏偏看不到呢！！！！！

The adjective rueful sincerely expresses regret, but it manages to do it with a hint of humor. Rueful shows up a lot in descriptions of remorseful grins or apologetic smiles. If you're sorry about something you've done but you can still laugh at yourself a little bit, you feel rueful. The word itself comes from the verb to rue, which means "to regret."

# V% o% I4 q$ u' o& K+ O) i/ U可见并不是共识，顶多是一种倾向性 —— 不过这种倾向性也足够向我们解释，为什么rueful 爱跟「笑」类词语在一起了.

) x  t7 p6 s, ~+ L6 ^7 L3 b在我看到的所有英汉词典里头，牛津高阶双解(第四版)是唯一一本讲出「看得开」这一点的，这还要得益于原文里有 —— 虽说新牛津原文里也有，但是译者就是看不见也没办法。

别的英汉词典都是一副李清照还魂的样子，只会说悲伤懊悔沮丧悔恨悲哀悲惨……凄凄惨惨，我倒不是说李清照还魂凄凄惨惨不好，而是 ——

: \# J  {- M8 n8 L( s我在上面列出来的这些英英词典没有几本罕见货呀，都是英汉词典「参考书目」里面该有、常有的，为啥英汉词典编纂技术节节高，却抄不到人家好的地方呐？传说中的「博采众长」「自建语料库」呢？

是任何时候都是 “表示或感到后悔的（但很看得开）”的意思，还是在某些句子里会纯粹表示 “悲伤的；懊悔的”意思？

我认为「看得开」是大部分时候都有的，但不能说所有时候必然如此
