关于短语“a family of +数字”的有趣翻译

  由于本人近期在使用不同权威词典查询family这个单词的用法时，发现中式词典和国外权威词典翻译相互矛盾，词典截图如下:发到论坛里大家讨论讨论，看看哪种解释为准

没觉得有什么矛盾，不同语境下表达不同含义，词典里的释义只是简单的例子。真正使用的时候，应该会有更清晰的上下文。

楼上二位同仁看法基本一致，暂时看来，两种情况的翻译都是可以的，词典是陆神仙，葛神仙，牛八和麦克米伦
