productive与英汉词典

productive有生产的意思，但是也有组织生长，繁殖的意思。
从我目前安装的英汉词典看，只有新牛津双解在productivity下给出了“繁殖力”的意思。
/ ~' }( Y& N. [) U, ?  |! j0 l) }从Random House查，productive的第一个解释是：
Productive: having the power of producing; generative; creative
而generative的意思是：having to do with the production of offspring
