有点“生死有命,富贵在天”的意思。Google 了下,这句话能找到的最早出处是 1854 年的一本书 https://books.google.com/books?id=m0ACAAAAQAAJ ,实际写作(或翻译)时间不会晚于 1760s,估计是传教士翻译的,原文几乎不可考了。2 R8 I, a( z/ z- X; P

6 `7 t9 \& j# L3 u% |' CIn 1760 Goldsmith began to publish a series of letters in the Public Ledger under the title The Citizen of the World. Purportedly written by a Chinese traveller in England by the name of Lien Chi, they used this fictional outsider's perspective to comment ironically and at times moralistically on British society and manners. It was inspired by the earlier essay series Persian Letters by Charles de Secondat, Baron de Montesquieu.
