表示某个城市的时候，相当于专有名词了，这时候采取意译的话，就失去专指的意味了。所以翻成什么梦想之城，幻想之地什么的，都不太合适。

而对于它的比喻用法， be/live in la-la land 是表示生活在幻想中，不切实际。
