Hello. There is an offline version of the English Wikipedia for GoldenDict. The file is in .zim format. Available at:9 l! a$ @2 \: l, M$ z- V, @

The only problem is that the file weights 48Gb and the index is extremely large. Indeed, it is necessary at least 8gb of RAM for creating the index. It is impossible to create the index for the English Wikipedia with an old pc with less than 8GB of RAM.

1) use goldendict to index the en wiki

2 a' @' j0 h0 `6 i$ u& d3) locate the unfinished empty index file name A, the file size is 0 bytes- ^* w7 M1 u7 H* a
4) rename the downloaded index file to A and copy to the destination directory |
