意译为；随着时间的流逝 as you go along 的意思是通常，一如既往。 是习语吗，有特别意义吗？如果不是，是否可以理解为：
如此行之；或 如此继续下去。
另外，询问问题的，最好把前后的 context 一并附上。因为有时候单独一句话极易产生歧义。 在柯林斯中可以查到： If you do something as you go along, you do it while you are doing another thing, without preparing it beforehand.
